1) I don't think the system works. Stupid electoral college.

2) I don't want to vote for the "lesser of two evils". All the candidates are basically the same power-hungry nimrods who aren't in touch with common Americans (and couldn't care less). Give me a candidate that I care about & believe in & maybe I would get out there.

3) I just don't want to be involved.

4) Finally, I am lazy (this influences basically everything I do or don't do).

I concur with everything 007 said. Politics drains my soul and I just don't want to be directly involved these days.

Personally, I think my time and money is put to better use by supporting groups like ACLU, Electronic Frontier Foundation and Free Speech Coalition who represent my views on most issues and actually have the power to make a difference.
