I LOOOOOOOOOVE David Bowie. I've slowly been growing my collection. I have bought every Bowie CD I have without having heard a single song from it, and every one of them has been excellent.

I just got "Outside." It's a concept album. Certainly not for beginner Bowie fans. Anyway, I think this album is awesome. The premise is that in the future, there's a differentiation between "crime" and "art-crime." If you murder someone and put designer clothes on them and pose them elegantly, it's not a crime, it's an art-crime, and justifiable by law. (As it should be!) There's a whole story in the liner notes, and studio photos of the characters, and the music is like the soundtrack for the story.

Any other Bowie fans out there?

He ROCKS!!

I like bowie.... Labryinth rocks, and golden years has always been one of my favorites.

exept for that horrible, horrible, almost career-endingly bad duet with mick jagger, bowie's been a pretty stand-up guy.

I'm a Bowie fan, but I'm pretty burned out on repeatedly hearing his hits (Ziggy Stardust, again?). I'd be interested in checking out some of the more obscure stuff he's done though.

Matty, didn't you post a link to some art-crime website awhile back? Wonder if that was Bowie inspired..
