To be honest, I really don't know shit about good speakers. But as Robin can tell you, I DO know NOT to buy them out of the back of a van. :)

Although I've had the same shelf stereo system forever, I have read good reviews of Polk & Infinity speakers (If you're looking for 'upper end').

I haven't bought my speakers yet as I have not had the time to buy them yet, but I am looking at the Infinity Primus 360. As soon as I get em, I'll let y'all know.
