here are the best two i have seen in new york (to my memory)

the recent winner, on a car service that has closed down.
WERE ARE
TEMPORALLY
CLOSED

it's fucking genius. and, if you add a forward slash and a colon and you have a dance piece:

were/are: temporally closed

the previous champeen was:

Pay
"Inside"
For
"Flowers"

does the author consider these words idiomatic? proprietary? is she or he being sarcastic? ahhh, the world will never know.

nice!

i always like the signs in post offices that say "No Dogs (Except Seeing Eye Dogs)"

i wonder who, exactly, those signs are for.

I always found it absurd that there is braille on the drive-up atm's at banks.

I can't read your sign Wolf.

Here in Miami the Cubanos don't speak English very well. I haven't seen any that are nearly as funny as Bangg's, but I have seen many errors.

A couple that come to mind are :

Income Tax
E-File
Fast Refound

Also, at my gas station, there is a sign on the pump offering a "Card Wash" with gas purchase.

Again, these aren't as hilarious as the above signs, but when you take into account that 1,000 of these signs were probably printed up, it raises the hilarity factor.

One more thing : Where have all the proof-readers gone?
I mean Tax Refound? Didn't anybody in the whole process of making these signs notice that something wasn't quite right?

You gotta click on the picture for a larger version. I'm not too hot with all that Hyper-text mumbo-jumbo, Double Oh. The best I could do was put up a thumbnail...

Sorry. I didn't realize it was as simple as that. I tried everything I could think of...

Now that I've read it, I really like it. Nice find.
