intonation / pitchfork

ok, i didn't go last year, but wasn't the pitchfork festival the same as the intonation fest last year? it seems they split up this year. pitchfork's is july 29-30, while intonation is june 24-25 in union park. the lineup for intonation is, so far:

the streets
the stills
lady sovereign
boredoms
jose gonzales
chromeo

bloc party
jon brion
panthers

so we have pitchfork, intonation, and lolla all in chicago this summer? fun!

i like the streets a lot, and i'd see jose gonzales just for that one song.

I'm with Slam on the Streets. I've also been listening to the Stills. Very lush, nice crescendos. So there you go.

If I were in town and could afford it, I would totally go just to see Chromeo and Lady Sovereign. Bloc Party too, of course.

ooohhh, I didn't even notice The Boredoms! Screaming Japanese girl-rock, from what I remember. This festival should be interesting.
