It is my opinion that there is now a new powerhouse in the Big 12: Kansas State. You heard me, Kansas State is the new power team in our conference. They hired the best available coach out there today. Bob Huggins, who has won approx. 75% of the games he coached and got to 14 straight NCAA appearances, has just signed a 5 year contract with KState. Huggins will bring with him an all star staff and the top 2 players in the entire class of 2007.
Huggins has had some problems with the law. But if you can tell me you have never gotten behind the wheel after a few drinks, you're a much better person than I. Missouri once again has missed out on the best available coach. Back when we hired Snyder, Bill Self was available and we did not go after him. Fucked again by Mike Alden. God DAMNIT!! :banghead:

agreed huggins was the best available coach.

next best is majerus but i dont think his bad heart will let him coach any more.

what we need is a new a.d.

Anyone have thoughts on the new MU hire: Mike Anderson?? I'm sorta interested in seeing his style. I think he has the ability to turn the program around rather quickly with his brand of ball. However, I don't think that brand of ball can be a longterm winner. Its my feeling the other coaches will get it figured out by year 2 or 3 and its effectiveness will dwindle. But, those are just my thoughts. All-in-all, I'm excited to see something new!

huggins to k-st is bad. but not terrible. i think he can do about as well as bob knight at tech. he can make a pretender into a contender.

in gooooood news. ou coach sampson goes to indiana.

that guy was good and we are better of without him in the conference.

ku will be great and texas will be better next year. so next year will be tough but, maybe in a year or two...........
