so, we took out the taliban, only to install a democracy that would end up crafting a constitution based on sharia law, which in turn makes it a crime punnishable by death to convert from Islam to another religion.

i just don't know anymore. i mean, maybe if we'd at least caught osama, i'd think the afghan war might've been worth something, but now it looks like kicking the taliban out didn't even bring the kind of freedom we'd hoped for...
