So anyone played this yet? I started today and it is quite pretty. And the world is HUGE. Several times bigger than Marrowind. It also has a fairly large customization options as far as what your player looks like. My guy for instance looks like Christoper Walken...well with Spock ears anyway. If you liked Marrowind or Daggerfall or are looking for a very large sandbox RPG this is a good one.

haha, same here, but even one game is too much for me. i'll stick to DDO. at least until neverwinter nights 2 comes out.

I have been playing a bit of oblivion . . its crazy cause i only get like 25fps with my 7800gt . . then i saw it on xbox 360 at 1080i and felt real bad. I dont even know if 2 7800gtx's in sli could look better . .

i get a sour stomach when console gaming starts to surpass pc's.

It runs pretty smooth on my x800pro, although I have noticed the fps drop on a few occasions. I have been having a few problems in game but i'm wondering if it has to do with the "edition" of the game i have.

Prettiest game I have ever played. I get about 30fps on my 7600GT. Only real problem is when I fight in the middle of a meadow.

Yes! But sadly it is usually with my bow drawn and an arrow nocked.

So far my least favorite thing in the game. Buying a 3500GP horse and having some asshole bandit kill it while I'm killing another bandit. Not cool man, not cool!

Supposedly there is a quest you can do at low levels to get a horse for free!

Leeander 3rd Level Wiz
Kaetlyn 6th Level Rogue
Maireth 2nd Level Bard
McCants 1st Level Ftr (on hold since they broke archery with the patch)
Ellaria 1st Level Cleric

I usally check on at least once everyday. I'm usually on from 4 - 8 most nights.

wait, can't you play the same character on any server? i thought they were linked to your profile, not the server. that would really suck if not.

No E you're wrong. Each server has it's own vault of charaters.

Since we'll all be low level make a rogue or wiz/sor. I'll be a cleric and E will be his Bar. So we should have a pretty complete party with that.

I am just trying to get a start on Christmas shopping for myself. And yes, I purchased a new PC earlier this year so I could finally play the game.
