That is really cool sounding.

It's crazy watching him play that thing... especially towards the end.

Also, that guy says it's by George Harrison, but I'm pretty sure on the album version it was Eric Clapton who played all the crazy guitar solos on that song.

That seems to be in dispute.

per Wikipedia

Some concerns are given whether or not the famous solo in "Gently Weeps" is actually Clapton, as rumors report that the solo was re-cut and that Clapton's solo was not the one that was pressed. Contrary to this is a quote by Harrison, which offers:

"So Eric played that, and I thought it was really good. Then we listened to it back, and he said, 'Ah, there's a problem though; it's not Beatley enough.' So we put it through the ADT [automatic double-track] to wobble it up a bit."

I remember seeing an interview with Eric Clapton where he insisted that he did not play the guitar solo on "While..." because he thought George Harrison had a more appropriate sound, whereas Harrison claims that it was Clapton and a ADT machine. Who knows what really happened, they were probably both so f'ed up that neither of them remembers.

So there is the confusion.

Rarely do I use the word, but that was beautiful. That guy was really talented. That would be some good study music...
