From what I've read these things actually do work.. has anyone tried it out yet?
How it works:

We have enough people here to get some free shit I think... or is this a bad idea? :groucho:

A free 19" flatscreen monitor sounds nice... or maybe a nice free Sony PSP.
Free stuff is good.

I was thinking of registering www.FreeHotDogs.com and getting on this bandwagon. Everybody loves free hotdogs. Just 2 referrals.
Awww damn.. somebody already beat me to it.
I think Poof tried this Ipod thing once. As far as I know he still doesn't have an Ipod.

Hrm.. well you gotta make sure you complete all the referrals. Did you do the whole program poofdogg - and what site was it?

i believe they will work...however...i grew impatient for all my slacker friends to do their part and sign up...so i tried to cheat the system...got caught and then i got banned. so...didn't work for me. however...given someone that actually tries...i would wager you would get your free item. cheaters usually win..but in this case...nope

I tried to get a free Chili's gift certificate once. And now the Navy calls me every month. I guess it was some sort of recruiting tool.

my friend did it and it worked. the only problem is you have to complete the sign up stuff... like blockbuster, credit card sign up etc... it's annoying... but i already have a ipod so blah whatever. i'd like a flatscreen too....

Yeah, personal info is too valuable nowadays.... it's getting harder and harder to keep that shit private, so I guess it would be pretty stupid to openly sell yourself and your friends out for an iPod.
But it is a nice trap those marketers have laid... very clever. :)

Most o' them I-Pod offers requires you to sign up for a couple hundred dollars worth of merchandise anyway. Don't be fooled.
