just rumors so far. let's hope they're true! the auditorium theater (where we saw tori, matty) would be an awesome venue for radiohead! none of this giant outdoor stadium crap...

tix on sale may 6th? wonder how much they'll be... these tix are going to be a pain in the ass to get; super small venue, not a lot of dates on this tour...

Are they touring a new album or what's the story?

slam

they usually like to do these little tours right before putting out a new album... gives them a chance to test out new material on a live audience.

only like 5 shows in the u.s. on this tour, with two of them back to back in chicago! whee!

IT'S ON! June 19th and 20th!

http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/763468/?search_redirect=radiohead&tm_link=tm_header_search

tix on sale may 5 (saturday) at 10 am. i'll be scouring the web for presale information. i highly suspect these tickets will sell out in under 5 minutes. the theater is really small, and they're not playing many dates on this tour.

tix are $40. i fully plan on purchasing as many tickets as i possibly can. EVERYONE SHOULD BUY TICKETS. EVEN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GO. we all buy tickets, we all have a better chance of getting them. and if there's extra, i'm sure they'll be super valuable.

don't you wanna see radiohead here?

:woohoo:

OK, we HAVE to coordinate this and get everyone pounding the site at 10am this saturday. I'll buy the max amount too if I can get through. You never know.... could be the last tour they ever do.

my sister managed to get her tix for the new york show today, so it sounds like things won't be super impossible. looking at the ticketmaster page for the new york date, there's a 2 ticket limit. soooo, no buying blocks of 6 at a time. i think that's probably pretty smart. at least that way, everyone who really wants them should be able to at least get one.

everyone buy your tickets tomorrow morning!

shit. i hate trying to get tickets for big bands. it's one of the reasons i started listening to mostly indie rock.

ticketmaster was freaking slow as hell, and by the time i got through (after a couple of errors that the website threw) they were already all sold out.

anybody have any luck?

Radio head ROCKS!
I wonder when there coming downt to Miami?

I've checked. They are not coming near Miami. Not much does.

 I'm sorry that No one got tickets. The last show I saw of theirs, was the BEST SHOW EVER! #1 OF ALL TIME!

On a side note, there is a law coming through trying to make scalping tickets in Florida legal. Thats some bullshit.

well, through blood, sweat, and tears, i managed to scour up two tix for the show!

i realized that tickets for their berkley show went on sale late than the rest, and managed to get lucky right at 10 am on sunday and scored two tix for that show. i sold them off on stubhub.com for enough money to buy two other tix for the chicago show.

the guy i bought tix from jacked up, though, and had already sold the balcony ones i wanted, and offered me two box seats for the same price.

so, after much fanagling, i got two AWESOME box seats for about $60 a piece. i feel kinda bad that i had to scalp some californian to get them, but i won't lose any sleep.

i'll let you all know how it goes :> i won't feel happy until i'm actually in the seats...

I find the amount of effort you went through for those tickets to be hilarious... but it looks like it paid off though. They put on a ridiculously good show.

i've seen them twice, and they're easily one of the top 3 bands i've ever seen (with air, and bjork). the chance to actually be within 100 feet of the show is an opportunity i couldn't pass up!

plus, lainafair's a huge fan who's never seen them, so i'm scoring girlfriend points as well.

oh, and what did i learn from this whole endeavour? never try to scalp tickets on craigslist to people in berkley. you'll get a bajillion emails from hippies begging to trade their patchouli or whatever for the tickets, or people that offer you lots of money only to later decide that they can't actually afford it. stubhub.com is the way to go.

I'm sure it will be a great show.

Maybe I'll try stubhub to scrounge myself some Chapelle tickets.
