Possible mixed feelings.
I really did love the first one. It spoke to me at the time (since I was working at a convenience store).
Definite potential. I'm sure I will check it out.

i hope it's good. kevin smith hasn't made a good movie in like 6 or 7 years.

I haven't seen Jersey Girl, but I loved all of the other Kevin Smith movies.
Clerks is classic. Though I thought Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (is that the name of the movie?) was supposed to be the last involving all of those characters?

Looks pretty decent, hard to tell though... I'll probably watch it at some point.
Also, am I the only one who thought Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was a steaming pile of crap?
Because, it was :)

i agree. although the first time i saw it in a theater was with one of my ex-girlfriends who was all prim and proper and shit and was complaining that she wanted to leave the whole time, so my entire view of it is skewed.
i saw it again later when not in my right mind and it was slightly funnier, but not much.

That Chasing Amy movie pisses me off. I hate it. I hate it so much it takes a ponit away from any movie of his that's good.
Clerks: 2 points
Mallrats: 0 points
Chasing Amy: -2 points
Dogma: 1 point (Originally had 2 points, but I took one off because Ben Affleck is in that movie.)
Strike Back: Didn't see
So there ya go. 1 point.
the only thing i really remember about watching clerks in the theater when it came out was thinking "holy shit, these people can't act! why am i paying to watch a bunch of actors who can't act?"
kevin smith's films are mildly amusing, but that's about it in my book.

i just watched the trailer. mallrats was where kevin smith should have ended his legacy.
can't say i'm surprised that this movie will probably be only mildly amusing.
by the way, i loved the psuedo-hives-esque song playing at the begining of the trailer. solid!
hey, at least there's no matt damon or ben affleck in this one. i hate those guys.
