so, last week i had the first of three biopsies i have to get this month. it sucked. they numb you up with like a 45 second shot and then slice you open and sew you up. and while it doesn't hurt after the shot, it feels really fucking wierd and uncomfortable. for the next two, i'm bringing my mp3 player (iRiver up in this piece). they will both take place on my back and will probably take like an hour. i need to listen to music while the surgery occurs.

so, essentially, i'm soliciting suggestions for surgery music. keep in mind that initially i will have a big-ass needle in my back. after that it won't be pain, it will be squeamishness.

what should i listen to while i'm on the table?

Although I'm not sure how into Classical you are, I would probably go for something soothing like Liszt or Mozart.

Or some jazz might be good. I've really been digging Bill Evans : Sunday at Village Vanguard. Its a fairly mellow album & possibly one of the greatest jazz recordings of all time.

Good luck 'on the table'!

What type of music are you into?

Also good luck on the surgery thing... hospitals suck.
