New M$ patch auto scans PC for unlicensed software

Looks like Bill Gates is making a list, and checking it twice:

"Microsoft today began expanding its anti-piracy program by quietly pushing out a software update that in many cases automatically scans Windows computers and reports on whether they are powered by unlicensed software."

yeah, that patch came to me. luckily i check the details of every automatic install before downloading or installing, so i didn't get it.
