so between my subway stop and home there's an empty lot grown over with weeds on the corner of 117 & Freddy D.

The past couple weeks I've noticed rogue fan parts thrown over the fence into the weeds. Window fans, oscilating fans, motors, blades, etc... all torn apart. The wierd thing was they were different every time i walked by... not just more... some had been picked out while new ones replaced the old..

The past week I've seen this man, presumably homeless, tinkering with this shit. always on the sidewalk with a small duffel bag of tools. one of his favorite past times is to crank open a fire hydrant and meticulously clean the fan parts, especially the grated frames. today i saw him messing with a motor with a pair of plyers. he's there every afternoon. Where are all these fans coming from? is he successfully repairing them or just being crazy? what's going on?

that crazy hobo!

thought I'd share-

Yes, he is definately a crazy person. And he is most likely building a space ship from the sound of it.

Take pics! :D

There was a crazy hobo wandering around in the rain outside my apartment last night when I got home. He was soaked, and talking to himself in a barely audible, ominous grumble. If he can't get in out of the rain, he'll never make it through the winter...just another hobo-cicle the paramedics will have to pry out from under the overpass.

There is a dirty hobo woman with her dirty hobo dog that has a makeshift leash made of rope that goes through my dumpsters everyday. I don't like her. She looks mean, and her dog looks dangerous.

I think we should collect all the people nobody would miss and house them in a subterrainian fascility and force them to do the manual labor noone wants to do with the promise of bottle caps and shoe string and the end of the day...

kind of ala Lucas' THX1138
