Arctic Monkeys

Ok...So I was with my salesman in Pittsburgh about a month ago. He says to me...you should check out this band the Arctic Monkeys. They're gonna be big. I'm thinking...you're 40, and seem to suck in most ways, so how could this possibly be true? So I was listening to the radio the other week and heard this awesome little song by The Arctic Monkeys. I loved it. In fact, I love most of that album. I have since decided to reevaluate my salesman's taste in music.

Anyone else intrigued??:hooray: :nixon:

i don't really see the draw. they remind me of the same type of bands like The Strokes or Franz Ferdinand that kinda just play this poppy rock really fast and there's not really any substance. that's just my opinion though...i don't tend to like that particular off-shoot of rock.

i really like the album. i don't think they're going to save rock n roll or anything but i would recommend the album.
they put on a good live show too.

dont get me wrong, they are the second coming of the Beatles or anything, but I thought it was pretty catchy stuff
