Jesus... so I just went down to the smoking room and opened the door and saw this guy leaning over this girl who was totally passed out and not breathing and having a fucking seizure in a puddle of her own piss. He was completely freaking the fuck out and so I ran and got HR to call an ambulance, and then I went back down and she was "awake" but didn't know who she was or what was going on... she was talking really funny. Some peopole from HR came down and made me go, I hope she's ok. WTF.

At least you called an ambulance!

Medical emergencies are anxiety-inducing to be sure.:dizzy:

Last year a very similar thing happened to me, but this girl had a seizure on the train.
There was this crazy sound that I couldn't figure out where it was coming from, and everyone on the train was looking around, then I realized this chick sitting almost right next to me had her eyes all rolled back into her head...same thing, stopped breathing and collapsed.
It was crazy because the train was packed, shoulder to shoulder, and they couldn't do anything about it until we got to the next stop, by which point everyone was paniking...
I never got to find out if she was ok...

I had this happen to me also about 5 months ago. I was in the photography lab, when one my classmates collapsed on the floor. There was 3 of us. I stayed with the girl to try to get her to respond, one went to grab the police, the other called the ambulance.

It is scary. I thought that maybe she had done a bunch of drugs and maybe had tripped and fell. She came in baked to class all the time. It was late at night too. No, it was a seizure.

They don't remember what happens either.

hmm...seizures...this sounds like its in my realm of expertise....seeing as i sell neurology equipment, install it, and deal with these techs on a daily basis. it can be pretty scary, especially when you're the one who put the person into a seizure. makes you feel REAL good! lol...

anyone have any serious questions about it??

Yeah, the way she was talking after she regained consciouness sounded like she was totally high or tripping or something. Was weird. Her conversation level was that of a five year old. Haven't found out yet what happened to her yet.

So poof, what causes them? Are they hereditary.. and can they cause brain damage? Also, someone was telling me people in their late 20's become much more susceptible to seizures.. scary.

Also, she wasn't shaking around or anything like you see in the movies. I think she stopped breathing though for a few minutes and was totally white as a sheet, eyes rolled back. I hope I don't witness that again. :(

i think it's electrical problems in the brain.
