This game is pretty rad! I just got it, but it's been out for awhile. You are this alien guy and you have a this ball you roll around that stuff sticks to and keeps getting bigger and bigger, eventually you can roll up people and houses, etc. Then when it's big enough it goes into the sky and becomes a star or something.

If you still have a PS2 lying around, pick it up for only $20.. very fun tripped out Japanese game.

i've been hearing about this for a long time. it's on my (very) long list of consumer goods to eventually buy.

I've played this game maybe 3 times...but I love it. The soundtrack is really cute, too.

would this game be good for like a 5 year old kid to play, or is it too hard? what about a 9 year old?

i did alright with this game, so i would think that any average 9 year old could kick some serious katamari ass. a five year old would probably be able to hang with it just fine too. in fact, the first i ever heard of this game was a radio review by a father who became hooked on it after watching his young kids play. i think you have found the kid friendly game you were looking for.
that game is a classic. i think it would work very, very well for young kids.
laina was an absolute addict. she eventually beat it... is there a sequel out there?

i think there are 2 sequels from what i saw on amazon. we love katamary and katamari and me (for the psp).
hey, anybody ever played kingdom hearts? the 9 year old loves disney and already is into rpgs cause i taught him well. i was thinking about that one too.
