Have you been to Europe before?

I went to Spain and Italy a few years ago (1999?)... was very fun. I'm thinking may be time to head back across the pond soon... have you been?

Tentative list of places I still need to see:
London
Paris
Prague
Amsterdam
?

Add to the list.. maybe we can get something together for this fall or next spring/summer. :pimpin:

I guess fall is too close to really prepare for a Europe trip.. but we should do a smaller trip this fall though. Either a road trip somewhere in the U.S. or head up to Toronto or Vancouver for a week or something. Ideas?

Feel free to come to Miami if you like. We'll pick you up from the airport & we have a nice air mattress. You'll love it down here when it's freezing cold up there (Ahhh, 70 degrees).

Hell ya I love Europe! I spent a year and a half in Spain. Thats where I met my girlfriend. I have traveled 13 countries including all of the ones you mentioned above. If you pass by Madrid or Alicante in let me know I have good friends there as well as Paris. Where were you in Spain? If you get the hack to post pics that are not hosted on web sights Ill put some good ones of me and my buddies partying at some of the big festivals in Europe. :thumbsup:

Nice! In Spain we backpacked through Madrid, Seville, Granada and Barcelona. Then in Italy, we visited Bologna, Venice and Rome. It was a pretty intense 3 weeks of traveling, seeing all the sites, going out every night, staying at hostels, the language barrier, etc... I wish I could've stayed another month or two.

So were you over in Spain for school for a year and a half? Did you travel a lot?

I'm jealous. :)

What happened to bring about your Florida vow?

It wasn't any one thing... but since you asked. :D I just realized last time I was there that FL is basically a hot muggy sandy swamp with a high ratio of almost-dead old people, Miami hipsters, gangbangers and fake South Beach sluts. People frequently find crocodiles, snakes and tarantulas in their toilets. There are friggin hurricanes. There is Jeb Bush. No one knows how to drive. People there get SARS and the West Niles virus. Disneyworld is full of fat, gluttonous American tourists. There are basically no seasons.. just hot and muggy. And I'm really not a big fan of the beach or ocean.

I mean seriously, do you ever here anything good about FL in the news? No. Because the most ridiculous and backwards things happen there. Fark.com even gave Florida it's own tag, and that's saying something. :)





There are some neat looking trees there though.

Ya, I was there for a year with shcool then I worked after that for another summer. I traveled all over the place, and did a bit of backpacking. I hich hicked all over Belgium. It was great! I cant wait to go back. I am jelous that my girl Laura gets to go twice a year. Thats pretty cool that you did all that. Not many people can get the balls to backpack all over Europe. Staying in hostls and everything is a blast but not for everyone if you know what I mean. Florida is cool also, or so they say, last I went I was like 8 or 9. I dont remember much. Ill go visit SQ and 007 soon so I hope they will give me the real deal there in Miami. I cant wait.
