I saw Cake a few years back and it was pretty good... I don't think they had much new material, but their old hits still rock. I also remember the lead singer bitching out all the "rich corporate people" for being obnoxious in the balconies during the show.. can't remember what exactly happened, but he got pretty mad and let them have it... the crowd loved that shit, heheh.

cake wasn't very impressive when i saw them a few years ago. if you've heard the album, you've heard cake live.

of course, they were following the flaming lips, and that's a hard act to follow. maybe i was biased.

I only really like a few Cake songs, and the main reason is if you've heard one, you know what all the rest are going to sound like...
