July 5th is his actual B-Day, but I was thinking of getting a group of people together the weekend before to take a day trip to Great America in Gurnie.
We have a few discount passes, and you can pick them up at any Dunken Doughnuts...
Anyone interested?

Haven't been to Great America in like... ten years. Maybe I'm tall enough for the rides now :)

I have both Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th off too.. so four day weekend is sounding good.

I'm not sure if Sat. or Sun. is best, trying to feel out who's interested...and what works best for the people who are.

I think either Saturday or Sunday is good.. whichever has better weather. It sounds like many of us have next Monday & Tuesday off... don't forget Tuesday (the 4th) is the Long Room BBQ at Belmont Harbor.

i'd highly suggest you don't go on a weekend. i went with like 25 people tuesday and the longest we waited in line was like a half hour once. and we usually got first car. waiting in line sucks. if you can avoid the weekend, avoid it.

well, plans are cancelled for this weekend. we'll do it another time.

unfortunately, the only weekdays i get off are the ones everybody gets off, so they don't usually work too well. and i don't think i'll spend my measley vacation time going to six flags.
