That site has been creating quite a stir amongst adult webmasters... I'm not sure if it'll really take off or eventually fall apart. A lot of webmasters are hoping it'll tank because they are giving away the farm for free.
Also, it's owned by AEBN, a fairly big fish in the marketplace... they manage the Playboy and Spice Video On Demand sites amongst hundreds of others. This isn't some amateur project.... they are throwing a ton of money at this site hoping it'll become the next big thing.
I think the main reason it could fail is because of legal repercussions from the 2257 record keeping requirements (basically you need all the info about every adult performer on your site, proof of age, etc.), which is an issue when anybody on the web can upload pornographic content to you site from god knows where.

Yes it would, but I got the free time to milk some money out of them. Not to mention that the comparison is flawed, a more reasonable analogy would be the RIAA stealing your CD collection and reselling it for more money. I like when the little guy steals from the big guy, not the other way around. But if the big guy does steal from the little guy . .the little guy might as well sue for a piece of the pie.
(this site is owned by AEBN, big ass mofos in the biz)

no one who worries about music piracy cares about big labels or the RIAA. you go ahead and keep all those 50 Cent downloads joe they on the house. the issue is small acts and indie labels and whether illegal downloads hinder their ability to get off (or stay off) the ground. the issue, in other words, ain't the little guy stealin from the big guy or vice versa; it's the little guy stealin from the little guy.
and this ain't to restart an argument that you and i've had 6,000,000,000 times over taking music. market-savvy (and lucky) bands can use free music to their advantage and all that. but don't present it as if the entire music industry is one monolithic big guy. there're lotsa little guys.

this is probably more ontopic in technobabble, but what does "beta" refer to in current website jargon? i noticed it at the beginning of this thread, and would like a bit of clarification.
there are a couple of us on here perpetually behind the times.

It's kind of like a trial run to see if/how it works, to work out the kinks, and in this case maybe even the kinky :smirk:
