Talk to my ex; he'd be down with that.

I'm actually surprised he's not on here yet.

He said he doesn't like messageboards. he'd rather email or something. he said it in that way where I suspected there was something crazy lurking beneath the surface, so I didn't press it.

Like the time he asked me if I believed in aliens. I said, "depends." But when he asked me, he had that crazy undertone, and then suddenly I was getting informed on everything you ever wanted to know about aliens.

I'm sure he read on some weird conspiracy site that the government controls your emotions through messageboards, so he doesn't want to get too involved.

Just wear the good old tin foil hat when posting/reading the forums, sure you get some wierd looks from coworkers, but you are in control of your feelings, and right now I feel like and idiot with this thing on my head.

I would be all over some Axis and Allies. We used to play quite a bit, but it has been a long time. I know 2 or 3 other people (including "Alien Boy") who would be down for playing. Let me know a good time and I bet we could get a game together pretty easily.

Well this weekend seems like it's going to be pretty active, but how's about next week? Sunday maybe?

Other questions include: Who has a copy of the game? (I can get my hands on one probably on short notice if need be) and Where to play?

Just throwing it out there.

Oh, if only you knew what lurks beneath the surface there! But I kid, I kid.

I know at one point he had a copy of Axis and Allies, but it's probably covered in cat piss and shake.

That sounds mean, but I'm sure he knows I'm just teasing.

Well I failed to find a copy of the game, for this weekend, and I'm too poor to buy another at the moment.

So that would seem to postpone the game playing for a while.

Also I was thinking that when this does actually happen we should play on Saturday, that way everyone could play. I seem to drunkedly recall Jason saying he had to work on Sundays.

Ok... I've heard of it before, but what exactly is Axis & Allies... is it like Risk? :o

It is similar to Risk, except a lot more detailed & a lot more strategy. It is set in WWII. You play one of the powers of that era. Allies (USA, Russia, Britain) Or
Axis (Japan, Germany)

It is a tremendous amount of fun if you like strategy games.
