Considering the current state of affairs...if the Democratic Party is not able to get a majority in either the House or the Senate, it is time they blow up the party and start over. The reason why we are experiencing so much radicalism is because the Republican party has been running all three branches of the Federal Government.

I work in politics representing the Democratic Party through various PAC's and individual candidates. Currently the research states that Democrats have a slight advantage to gain power in Congress. If you are willing to accept the fact that Democrats have been losing because they aren't active voters and that the voting machines in Florida and Ohio are in fact Republican, there will be one issue that determines the election. How extreme will the liberals ("progessives"...whatever) become before election day? This seems to create problems for the democrats during crunch time. The Democrats would be wise to enjoy the current advantage, and avoid trying to impliment more "Joe-mentum." Regardless, get your tent out because the circus is coming to town.
