i was happy when i heard about this decision. i am all for promoting healthy as beautiful. but what would be even more earth shattering is if there were a variety of body types showcased in a collection. there should not be one standard of beauty, be it thin, thick, or somewhere in the middle.
i do understand a designers want to show a particular aesthetic, but oh well. too bad for them that they have to hang their designs on real humans. maybe if they finally decide that what they create is non-functional art and call it a day, then they can let whatever skeleton they want wear it.
