Recommended Listening

I have a few groups/people I want to share with the rest of you.

Ellen Allien- Berlinette is a good album for those who like electronic, and is good even if you don't. :)
It sounds like a sexy German robot assassin, strutting down the street just laying waste to dudes. Glitched-up vocals are for yes. (I borrowed that one from a friend)

Also if you like Daft Punk or Depeche Mode, then check out Chromeo - She's in Control. I just got that album re-ripped to my computer (after the horrible formatting incident, in which 13 people died and 40 others were seriously wounded, unkindly removed all of my music) and I've been listening to it pretty much non-stop for a few days now.

Cool! I've heard good things about Chromeo.

I've been meaning to check it out but this week I finally broke down and bought Bloc Party and the new Spoon. They're both okay, enjoyable but not spectacular. Maybe they will grow on me after repeated listenings. I should have had somebody download them and spent my money on other things, but oh well...
