I've been in a phase of downloading comedians and listening to their stand-up while doing homework or shit around the house and whatnot. So far I've visited Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, Lisa Lampanelli, Sarah Silverman, and Bill Hicks.

Anybody got any other suggestions??

Never really thought he was that funny, at least his show seemed dumb.

His stand up is better than his show.

being immersed in Latin culture I think the humor fits more here in Miami.

George Carlin and David Cross.... and I second the nomination for Mitch Hedberg.

Of course I'm familiar with George Carlin, but it wouldn't hurt to revisit.

I'll give Carlos Mencia another try, but I have to agree that I find his show very annoying. I'll check out his stand up and tell you what I think!

This Mitch Hedberg intrigues me...

Good call on old school Steve Martin, Ag Au. I haven't listened to that shit in years!

Try checking out www.bobandtom.com. The bob and tom show is a morning FM radio program that has a bunch of trash with the occasional outstanding comedian. Check it out for weekly links and you can find some decent stuff from current comedians.

If you're looking for older stuff I recommend Adam Sandler. His tapes are good, the movie, "The Waterboy" is awesome, and no, I will not make out with you.

Don't forget old eddie murphy. I also recommend the kings of comedy.

I may be the only person who thinks this, but Queens of Comedy is funnier.

Neil Hamburger...He's offensive and disgusting, everything I look for in a comedian. Probably 75% of people I've told about Neil didn't get his unique style...

And yeah Dane Cook is really funny. Mitch Hedburg too....so sad he's gone.
