yeah, cnn was showing this clip like every 5 minutes the other day. they're just so happy to have a black person bringin up the race issue in the wake of katrina so they can report about him saying it as opposed to having to say it themselves.

nbc was damn fast issuing their statement saying that kanye's statement didn't reflect the station's attitude. guess we won't see kanye on SNL any time soon.

man, i got a whole lot of respect for kanye. i'm interested to hear the new album. i like jon brion's production work, and it's an interesting combo.
