headphones

so my beloved ipod headphones are just about totally shot, and i'd like to get some new ear buds. i like the style of the ipod headphones (in-ear buds as opposed to plugs or regular headphones) and i was wondering if anyone had suggestions. i'm not the biggest audiophile, but i'd like quality at least as good as the ipod ones with maybe a little more bass response.

looking in the sub $50 range.

If you're not too rough with 'em, Sony makes some great ear-buds. I had a pair last me 3+ years, and if you're familiar with my rough and tumble lifestyle, you know what that means. They died not too long ago when the little mangets inside sucked up some metal filings left over from a steel wooling project... they did shock my ears for a couple days before completely crapping out... fun.

Since those, I think i've killed about 4 pairs of earbuds in about 6 months. Finally gave up for a nice pair of those big cushy headphones.... going out with my bug-eyed sun-glasses I look like I just wandered out of a shooting range- right on!!
