I know it's a little early to start thinking about such things, but I already have my work schedule for the holidays so I thought I'd make some plans. If it works for everyone's schedule, it looks like Saturday Dec 30th will be the best day to rock the house. I'm not really sure what the evening will hold, but I'm sure there will be lots of good food and lots of booze, so it should be a great time. Put it on your calander, kids!!

as that's 5 days after christmas, there's virtually no chance i'll be around. i can take off maybe 3 or 4 days for christmas, but that's it.

anyone wanna throw a rager the friday before christmas?

hooooo lawd! say it again, say it again! That kegger was mighty fun. I am in favor of another such friday party and me and my wife would roll in kinda late, but it would be the best time for me.

December 23 = Saturday.

I could host this year. Dec 23 = Saturday = Homebrew Kegger at Phils house

This is exactly what I needed to know. It's still early enough to work out some sort of trade. I'll try for the 22nd or the 23rd. If Cadi wants to throw a kegger, maybe we can combine parties. We could all gather at duck and my place and fill our bellies (and maybe have a little liquid refreshment) then move on to the keg for phase 2. I'll begin the negotiations at work and update party plans as soon as I can.

I negotiated Sat the 23 off from work. I'm voting for kegger at fiddup's! Duck and I have a little extra room if any out of towners need somewhere to crash that weekend to avoid driving out in the sticks. If we end up whooping it up Friday and Saturday, I'd be more than happy to have a little breakfast gathering Sat (I make mean biscuts and gravy).

Yippee for party plans!

Tis Official. Homebrew Kegger At Phils. Any suggestions on beer types, while I still have time to brew? Who is coming? When are you arriving? So many questions.................

professor booty

can you make something that tastes like egg nog and beer combined???

Or maybe a fruitcake beer? How bout candy cane EPA?

In other words, braumeister, I trust your tastes for a celebration brew better than my own suggestions.

Are you still using kits or are you looking to try out recipes?

Any more Suggestions on Brews, Need them Right away. I already planned on the Stout being ready then, as well as a Pale Ale, Maybe a Brown Ale.

professor booty

We brewed a Big River Brown Ale from Midwest and it was pretty good. If you are considering another specialty flavored beer, I know that Katie would probably be interested in trying their Raspeberry Red Ale kit.

Have you done their Bass clone kit ("Brass Ale")? We like Bass, but don't know how their kit compares.

Sah-weeeeet...

Nice design. Are all your brews going to get labeled?

fiddup_(is_a_midduP)
11-16-2006, 04:23 AM
All brews get a lable. bottle lables are printed on the same sticker paper that went on your mead. I made some tap handles for the keg-o-rater that have inserts for a 5.5 cm x 5.5cm piece of paper for "labeling the keg.
