so what's everyone doing for halloween? what are your great costume ideas? what awesome parties are you going to be attending?

i'm gonna be with my family in omaha for a wedding this weekend, so my halloween is looking to be fairly tame.

let me live vicariously through your exciting lives!

Hanging with Poof and Mama Poof this weekend. Looks like it'll be a fairly dry Halloween, but you never know about those Lacklands...

Tonight I'm going down to the critical mass bike ride tonight, and rampaging drunk through the streets with a thousand or so other people on bikes. If you can ride a bike at all, and you're in Chicago, think about going, whether you have a costume or not. There will be thousands of people, crazy shit to see, it will be a big party. Bring beer to drink, or find me, I'll have a few gallons of homebrew to share. This is one of the most fun things of the whole year. Daily Plaza, downtown, 5:30.

I didn't really come up with a costume, but I got two big tubes of fake blood this morning. I'm sure I can come up with something gross with that.

As for Halloween day? Don't really know yet. Seems like most Halloween stuff is happening this weekend.

The thought of being surrounded by thousands of drunks with costumes and bikes in downtown Chicago on a Friday evening does not appeal to me at all :erf:

But have fun! :biker:

I haven't heard about any shit going on this weekend, so I have no plans and will just play it by ear.

Paula and I might carve a pumpkin, but that's about it, lol. :pumpkin:

I suppose I should stock up on Halloween candy for next Tuesday though.

Larryhead, aubrey's having a party on Saturday. You should go...ASS! It's a costume party, but I'm not wearing one. And if anyone complains I will tell them my fist has a costume and it's as a knuckle sandwich!

What you doing tonight?

Ordering Chinese food :binge: and possibly hitting a bar in my neighborhood, lemme know if you want to meet up later.

I am in a B-52's cover band called The Deadbeat Club and we are playing a short set at the Ragtag Halloween party tonight (secretly and unbilled), and then we are headlining at Mojo's on Oct. 31st. I wish my out-of-town friends could see us!:(

So I'm wearing a hot pink beehive wig and silver go-go boots. I haven't had time to think up a clever costume for any other events I might be attending.

Columbians: If you're not doing anything on Halloween night, you should come see us at Mojo's! It's only $5. Greg from Witch's Hat is in it too.

Thanks! If we can get it taped, I think we are planning to put it on youtube.

If that happens, I'll post a link.:)
