So did anyone see the adress today? while Bush was talking he was beeped. I read the closed caption and it said "beep". Did he swear? I am pretty sure he did.

that's funny, i heard him beeped out as well. i just assumed it was some kind of equipment malfunction...

it wasn't state of the union, though, just a press conference.

well, apparently, the words bleeped out were 'dell television screens'.

our president has sank to the level of product placement.

so, the more i think about this, the weirder it is. i mean, i listened to the speech live on npr. they bleeped it, which means they must have known in advance, which means he actually had it in the transcript.

this was no slip.

I was reading the closed caption and it was not anything about tv...are you sure this is why they bleeped it?

i still do not believe that he was bleeped for product placement....Can anyone else verify this...I can't stop thinking about it.

I think it was product placement.

I am not sure if he did it on purpose though.

For me, if the President of the United States wants to endorse a product, I have absolutely no problem with it. The President is entitled to endorse whatever in the hell he wants, and we are entitled to completely ignore him.
