View Full Version : Message For Slam (and LH)
Hey Slam, Soul Queen & I were pricing tickets for a visit to Chicago. We were looking at Oct 27-31 weekend. How does this initially strike you? Will you be around & moved in by then? Will it be freezing in Chicago by then? This was about as late in the season as I would consider, otherwise I'm looking at next year (Screw that winter shizzle).

going to visit the slam master...i see...i'll feign to be sleighted by that comment...i know...us in the northeast deserve no love. :) remind of of the weekend you fools need help moving...i might not be able to do it...i just got word that i could be getting screwed into working that weekend and i'm sorta pissed about it. laters fools....
you should know, poof, EVERYONE comes to visit chicago. why, even your yourself has been by a few times if I recall.
chitown is where it's AT.
i can't see anything wrong with that weekend. you know me; i rarely have my life planned out further than an hour in the future.
Don't worry Poof, plans are being made to visit you too. Sometime. We are going to be moving on Sept. 9. So get back to me on that one.
Also, Slam, the weather, the weather? This is an important factor for me.
Finally, Poof, speaking of being sleighted, what about the float trip?

Yes, poof, you missed out on some hot float trip action...
...because Carissa and I FINALLY got tipped. Congrats to Becker on that one. Kurt tried, but I smashed his little fingers with my canoe paddle.
(butting in on your thread...sorry)
you expect me to predict the weather in chicago? today it was 80 and gorgeous. sunday was 102 with head index at 117. next week could very well be in the 60's. we get beat down from all sides up here.
i'm guessing it will be brisk/cold in late october. not 'gonna light myself on fire to stay warm' frigid yet, but probably sleety, grey, winter-gonna-get-your-ass-soon weather. soulqueen will, with zero doubt, be cold. but that will happen even in july, eh?
there's plenty to do inside.
