Stupid ass CBS went off the air from 7:30-8:00 so I missed the last half. Cool seeing Stephanie and Bobby Joe. I can ogle Steph for a few more weeks. Also kinda neat seeing Hogeboom as an older guy on Survivor. I wonder if anybody will figure out who he is. I hope they don't and he wins and comes back on the reunion show like, "HA HA HA BITCHES!" I used to hate him when he played football. Also what is up with the super hot Chiefs girl?...a bit tacky if you ask me.

I noticed that too. Very strange.

OLN has been showing every episode of every Survivor over the past few months and I have noticed that with the exception of Vecepia (who won) Black Survivors tend to not fare so well. Either they are completely out of place and uncomfortable in the wild or they are too aggressive or too strong and are a threat (remember Clarence from Africa?) Seems like the Survivor people only cast certain types of people. Probably true for most reality shows.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that it's always 1-2 black people surrounded by 16 crackers (with the occasional latino/asian thrown in for good measure). I'd like to see how well 1-2 white people would do on an island with 16 african-americans.

I've thought about that before. It would be cool to have a reality show with all rich white people that takes place in the ghetto. Or all urban black people forced to live in a rural enviornment. I think both would end in disaster, but it sure would be fun to watch. Could you see a group of 8 urban AA's going to the FishBeak with a bunch of tv cameras? Great TV, Horrible in person!

Oh, btw Danni (crazy Chiefs hotty who I have designated as the newest BTB) was runner up for Miss America...SWEET!!!

Also, I think the family that is living with your parents was on the local news this morning. The interview took place in a patio type room with white whicker furniture. One of my mom's friends from New Orleans and her family are staying with my parents after fleeing NO. Those of you who used to play D&D in my basement back in the day may remember the family, 'cause they had a son who kept coming down and asking "where all your toys at candem?" Yeah, so their kids are enrolled at glasgow high school now and they're just kind of trying to figure out the next step. I guess they got interviewed by KOMU last week as well.

The only reason there are token racial characters is so whitey can feel comfortable about a watching diverse show.

Poor Bobby John!! I think he's crazy as hell, and more than a little annoying, but I love all of his crazy southern sayings. I lived in The South for two years and never heard any of the crazy gibberish that Bobby John says come out of anybody else's mouth...

How about Gary finding that little immunity idol, and in the nick of time? Quite a Survivor moment.

At this point, I still haven't made a pick. It seems like all the players this season know the game really well, with the exception of Judd. But Judd doesn't seem to know much of anything.

I guess for players I like Rafe, Gary, Danni, Steph, and Cindy. As far as winners are concerned, I'd have to say Steph or Gary are in the mix, even though they were both on defense last time. But hey, tomorrow's another day. Anything can happen.

What's up with Lydia? JVO and I decided it's impossible to look at her and not giggle. JVO said she looks like a cross between a hobbit and an orc. I think she looks like a circus dwarf. CBS.com has her occupation listed as "fishmonger."

as much as i may personally like bobby jon and steph, i've been wanting them to lose. i mean, seriously, there's no second chances in survivor (or at least, there shouldn't be, unless it's an all-star reunion or some shit).

i always hate this part of the show where the two tribes merge, and one tribe just picks the other one off. gary and danni have way more right to be there still than lydia. last week would have been ideal for a 'pecking order' challenge, but i guess we'll have to hope they do it this week. that always fucks up the alliances.

who voted for cindy last time?? was it judd? poor, poor judd. guy just doesn't have an ounce of grey matter up there.

i hear probst may be leaving the show after another season (i can't imagine why you'd give up a dream gig like that, but hey). speculations on who would replace him? i think they should get simon from american idol!

Matty said something about Probst leaving too. I had not heard that. I told Matty if they pick Sally Jessie Rafael I am commiting hari kari.

I LOVE DANNI!!!!! And not just because she is a btb. She is incredibly strong and has been playing the game since the beginning. Watching her try to save Brandon broke my heart.

I will be happy if Cindy, Rafe, Danni, or Gary wins. I'm with you Slam about Bobby John and Steph. It is definitely an unfair advantage.

I told Matty, I think they should have a Survivor where one tribe is completely made up of All-Stars and the other of new people and see how it works. Probably be pretty interesting.

Slam has started getting me into this season... I liked how that one dude (Gary?) found the immunity doll and busted that shit out when everyone was about to vote him off... he screwed that plan up pretty nicely. And that one girl Steph is quite a hottie in that skimpy tank top. I would watch again. :)

The way they randomly seperated people for the reward challenge was the clearest case of "Producer interference" I have seen on Survivor. I absolutely loved it!!!!!!

So glad Jamie is gone and the evil 6 are split.

i, personally, am flat out amazed at rafe's enviable position right now. i'm really rooting for him. he always seems to be the one person out there who has the same opinions on everyone else as i do. i think they're really editing it towards a rafe victory. how often does someone completely come out and dominate the challenges without anyone considering them a threat?

so there's my bet.

Yes, Rafe is kicking butt, but I certainly wouldn't want to be in the final two with him. He'll probably go out in some sort of coup.

I think he's been so underestimated because he's so gay, but when there's nothing but girls and Gary left, the winds will change. Gary's too smart NOT to see Rafe as a threat at that point.

Speaking of Gary, do you think anyone is going to out him? I would take Gary to the final two and then tell everybody he's already rich. Danny knows who he is, and she's going to spill the beans eventually.

Matty, I agree with all that. Rafe, is almost too good a player to survive. Everybody has to know that if he makes the final two he will win. Although the same could be said of Tom last year, and he won anyway.

I think Danni has already told everybody, and they are just keeping it to themselves. If not I am sure it will come out when the jury questions the final two. That will be awesome!!!!!
