What are you doing for Superbowl Sunday? :football:
If you want to come over to Pub Paula on Sunday, we'll be watching the game on our brand-spankin-new-40"-LCD-save-the-whales-oh-my-god-its-so-beautiful-i-want-to-cry television, so feel free to come on down. :D We've been open for business the last few playoff games and it's been lots of fun, mostly Paula's friends have been by, so I wouldn't mind seeing some of your familiar faces there too... lemme know if you need directions.
I think Hasslehaas is throwing a similar event up north, but I'll let him talk about that.
GO BEARS!
As it will be doubling as The Assassin's going away party, I plan on attending whichever shindig he'll be at.

Cool, dunno where he's going, but y'all are welcome to come over... I hear Paula might be making her special game day turkey chili, so I'm not leaving :D

FYI, saturday will probably be the "going away" party instead of the Super Bowl. Main reason is that I have to fly out early on Monday and then go to meetings right away so I will be pretty sober Sunday night. I will most likely watch the game at Hasslehaas's place.

Super Bears Party at the Hasslehaas Theater. 5330 N. Kenmore just north of Berwyn. Doors open at 1pm this Sunday. Bring drinks and food if you like. (note that a toaster oven is the only cooking appliance available)

all i really want is a place to sit when i watch the game. it appears that there's going to be well over a dozen people at larryhead and paula's place on sunday. how many people you expecting haas? will there be seats for me and laina?
cause otherwise, i'm sitting my skinny ass on my couch at home!

Yeah dude, it will be rather crowded at Pub Paula this weekend. I guess lots of people are now bringing friends over too. Which is fine and will be fun, but if you want a good seat, you best be getting there EARLY!
BTW, what time is kick-off... 5:30?

I have many many seats, and they are all good since my massive screen measures over 100" diagonal. Honestly I have no idea how many people to expect at this point. Be sure you have my cell # before coming over. My buzzer don't work too good.

Hassenfeffer did you know that you need to obtain a licence to show the S-Bowl on anything over 55"? Alert the authorities! :club: But we can calm them down with my delicious meatballs and 'lil smokies crock pot combo. Oh the gluttony of it all! :binge:
