i was gonna go to see the easy star all stars play their dub side of the moon on saturday. we got there and it was like 25 bucks. so...we decided to just hit a bar. i drank murpheys on tap all nite and got stinking drunk. i haven't ever had murpheys on tap. i'm coming to find that there are an assload of good beer in baltimore. wee!!!!

Once again I nominate Poof for the LVP award. For going to I'm sure a kick ass show and wussing out because it was $25.00.

I almost think we need a new award. We can call it the Poof award and when people do lame things we can give it to them.

For example: Anyone wussing out on the float trip, like Nick and the other guy who sat at camp on the second day of the trip. They would get a Poof award.

For nominating someone to have a keg party, promising to deliver the keg and not showing up. Poof award.

For driving all the way to see Dub side of the Moon and crapping out-Poof award.

Though I do think that "Poof award" doesn't quite convey what the award to stands for. Any suggestions on a name?

yeah thats a good one. Sorry for being so mean. Sometimes you make crazy decisions that I just don't understand. Its the Poof mentality that mystifies me. :p

Many years ago I had a friend named Richard who, like Poof, seemed to win the lion's share of LVP awards. We originally called the award the "Don't be Dick" award, but after many complaints we changed it to the LVP award. I have kept that award with me ever since. In every situation I am constantly seeking out the LVP (many times it's me!!!!) Kinda of neurotic I guess. I also like to keep track of the Stupidest Thing of the week award. These days there are so many possibilities it is hard to narrow it down to one thing.

How about we make it into an all-inclusive word instead. Some examples:

You could have gone and you didn't because it's $25? You Poof.

Stop Poofing around and go on the damn float trip.

You promised a keg party and then didn't get a keg? You really Poofed this one up.

And so on.

you're god damn right they are. hence your lvp award, poof. i was there. i remember it. i think we were at maguey's or something, and then we were going to go over to my place when you suggested we go to sq&007's since it was bigger and that you would bring the keg. we thought you were joking, but no, you insisted you would bring a keg.

you never showed. we called, you didn't answer.

you totally poofed up the whole night.

Normal saturday YAY no work this time! I got to see the Omen for the first time. Kinda slow pace but I liked it.
