Howdy all :wave: , Well we made it alive! West side. The move was a grueling 40 hrs but it was well worth it. First we would like to say sorry to all of you for not calling we have been real busy, but I told Laura you would all understand being that you all have done it many a times. We just got the last piece of furniture bought, the couch, and are more or less settled in. We made some friends and it is beginning to feel like home......except it doesn’t suck of course ;) Davis is a very quiet town and the people are exceptionally nice. Everyone rides their bikes all over the pace and almost every road in the city has a bike lane. The population here is around 56K and the city is about 4 sq miles. We have been to San Francisco a couple of times it is real quick drive down the HW-80. We were going to go to a killer music festival this weekend with my friend Rana but we couldn't afford it :cry: If you want to see what it is all about however you can read about it at http://www.earthdance.org/sf/ One thing that is great about this area is it is covered by organic farms so we have been eating extremely well. We go to the farmers market twice a week and we are going to start volunteering at the co-op very soon. Laura loves the campus and will be starting school on the 29th. I start work about that time also and am looking forward to helping in New Orleans for the relief effort. I have posted a few pics on some bs website that Bighead told me about. Please feel free to check them out. Some are from the move and our new apt. and the others are from our going away party in MO before we left. We miss you all and have plenty of space for however wants to come. This is just the first of installments on what is going on here, you all can expect much more of this in the future.
