I thought I'd hate this movie. It's about boxing, and I hate boxing. So I'm not sure if it was the hot sweatie girl with white trash accent kicking ass, or the deeper sub-story of a washed up trainer trying to reclaim past glory, but I liked it! :D Definately lives up to the hype.

one thing you can say about hillary swank after 'million dollar baby' and 'boys don't cry': she sure knows how to get beat to death.

i hear she worked on a southern missouri accent for the movie. that seems apropo for playing a hick. someone did her research.

Just saw this over the weekend. Fantastic movie, but I will never watch it again. What is it with Clint Eastwood only directing movies that make you want to kill yourself?
