What do you consider to be British humor? I ask this because Poof and I went to see Spamalot the other day and although I enjoyed the experience of watching a lighthearted, silly musical, I just don't think I appreciate that Monty Python-esque style of humor. What was odd to me was that everyone whom I shared this with made the comment, "...well, it's British humor..." But the thing is, I LIKE other British comedies, like Absolutely Fabulous and also the original Office (I think the first one was way funnier than this current one). So, what makes Monty Python more historically 'British' than these other comedies? Is it the fart jokes? Because honestly, if that's what's considered to be British humor, then I'm really not too down.
