So whenever I try to send a PM, I'm not sure if it goes through or not. It gives me this message :

General Error
Debug Mode

Thought that the Moderator might want to know.
So what is going on? Need to smack some more hamsters around?

Well, I guess the message is going through. After a little experimentation, I did get a reply. So it goes through but gives me that weird message.

Yeah, I just tried and got the same message. I'll poke around and see if the hamsters need feeding. Thanks for the heads up.

So discovered another weird little thing : Whenever I complete a message & submit, it gives me this message :

Ran Into Problems Sending Mail. Response : 500 5.5.1 Command Unrecognized : "AUTH LOGIN"

Sorry to deliver bad news again. The message still goes through, but when I go back to index, it shows my message as new to me. Thought you might want to know.

Seems to be another weird PM thing. Been noticing it for a few days.

Yeah, I've noticed that too and as a result I have sent duplicate PMs more that once. Sorry, recipients.

Yah... I recently upgraded the board script and have inadvertently broken the "emailer" function in the process. Everything is still working, just notification emails aren't being sent from the script (like if you send a PM or someone is subscribed to a thread it attempts to email the person).


I should have this corrected soon.. sorry for the confusion.

OK, this should be fixed. Let me know if you come across any other glitches in the system. :)
