Yes, it's very upsetting when I get a KFC Famous Bowl, and it fails to fully levitate and emit a pleasant silver corona, as they show it doing in the ad.

our buddy scott in college would agree with you. he came up with the novel, and horrible, idea of the denny's trough. denny's would just take the remaining food from customers' plates, place it in a trough, and sell broke, stoned college kids a dollar per pound to pick through it.

Lots of time and preparation go into those ads. and most of what you see isn't really food, of course I don't consider what fast food joints serve food either, so what can you do.

i watched a thing on the food network run by Double Dare guy that focused on food ads. yeah in commercials those are definitely NOT food. They are actually props. There are specialized food prop artists that design and build that stuff. make a good buck doing it too.
