yeah, so i'm a cubs fan, and if we're gonna go AL imma take the Tigers, but since neither of those teams are playing i'm rooting for the white sox. go, chicago. emphasis on chicago.

the yankees aren't the problem. if we face the angels, however ... well, let's just say we didn't have the greatest luck during the regular season vs. the angels.

i agree with koster, btw. i don't want any cubs fans rooting for us (the sox) now that we're actually in the playoffs (and winning) -- god knows i hated the cubs even more when they made it a few years ago.

I don't know what I want. I would love to see the Chi Sox come out of the AL, but I don't want the Cards to fall victim to the whole "team of destiny" bs again. Glad to see the Red Sox are gone. Can't possibly root for Yankees, guess that leaves the Angels and White Sox.

what the fuck is the problem with cubs fans rooting for the white sox in the playoffs? to quote every goddamn kid in my classes, "the two are not mutually exclusive."

but seriously, why wouldn't it make sense that we root for a chicago team. 'specially if we get the red birds.
