Just curious... excluding any Atari games (everyone would just say E.T.).

I remember reallly hating Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for NES (not the arcade vers.). You couldn't save & you only got three lives for a game that took like ten hours... maybe longer.. dunno, I never could beat it.

that game suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked. especially at the end when you were playing shredder...the last level was really really really long and if he killed you you had to start all the way back at the beginning.

I'd have to say my personal worst would have to be:

hmmm...i can't think of one. i love all video games.

I'm sure Poof would back me up on this one :

A Boy & His Blob

The game was totally lame. You couldn't even make it out of the first world & I'm not even sure what you were trying to accomplish.

I've still got A Boy & His Blob, and TMNT (I think) in my closet. I need to break out the old NES sometime.

I think there are a lot worse games than TMNT. Try Fester's Quest. The game controls were horrible. I think Poof almost beat Fester's...

E.T. The Extraterrestrial for the Atari 2600.

Worst game ever, hands down.

The game was so unpopular they ended up gather all of the games cartridges and burying them in a landfill.

Id have to say only because it dissapointed me so much, Saga Frontier the most recent one for PS2.
I was so hyped about getting it since I enjoyed its prodecessors so much. After turning it on for 2 mins I did something Ive never done to a new RPG. I yelled and screamed ripped out the controller. almost peeled open the mouth of my PS2 to toss it across the room! Then I did the dreadfull exchange for instore money at Gamestop! Those bastards a game I just paid 53.00 dollars for and they would most likely resell as new for the same price they could only credit me 8.00 dollars!!!!!!!!
WHATALOADOFSHIT!

Yeah those people at those places really rob you when it comes to that type of thing. You would have been better off trying to sell it as a private individual or just keeping it.

And while I love the movie, the video game translation of the game was horrible. I couldn't even get past the first level, but that may have something to do with the fact that the game is more difficult thatn Ghost's N' Ghouls!!!

He He. I watched a buddy of mine beat Back to the Future a few weeks ago. Pretty anti-climatic.

You made it back to the future....or did you?
Then the game restarts. Pretty lame.

Lets see....Jaws sucked pretty bad, as did Dr. Chaos. Then there was the game where you rode up and down an elevator.

And I'll definately have to agree with 007 about A Boy and his Blob. That game was the ass.

Was that Elevator Action? I played quite a bit of that back in the day...and it DID suck.

But it was pretty high-tech for 1983.

hmmm...
Back to the Future was pretty terrible... anyone try Back to te Future II & III (all rolled into one cartridge)? ROTTEN!

And Fester's Quest? yikes!

TMNT was pretty bad, but it had some clever twists to it... i remember liking the swimming scene.

I remember having some bad coleco games... can't really recall their names, tho... MouseTrap?

All of you guys are clown shoes . .the only reason you didn't pick this game is because it was too terrible to even rent. Bow down to the ulitmate piece of dogshit:

If you hold "RIGHT" on the controller you'll beat the game ..eventually.

Fester's Quest!! Sonofabitchthatgamewashorrific. I played it for about seven minutes before I threw the controller across the room.

How about the Jurassic Park game for Sega? Se terrible!!

There was also this game called Ecco the Dolphin. I liked it (a lot) up until the later levels. About the time you meet the Orca, it starts to go downhill. I read somewhere it was really glitchy, which might have added to my problems, but still--holy shit. Bad controls and bad defenses plus constantly attacking sharks equalled a tantrum that got me grounded from playing video games for a month.

I remember Ecco! I think I had it for pc.
never played it very much, tho. I think I got bored with the early levels... i remember it great graphics at the time, tho...

What about The Little Mermaid for NES? that was pretty crappy... you could beat it in a half hour but if you died once, you were skrewed!

a couple years ago I dug out my old nes console and set it up in my smokin' pot/game room... I would get games for $2 at the discount game store that I'd never heard of! some of them were the worst things ever coded... some I'm not sure if they were just old and worn out or if they were really that terrible! ... i wish i could remember some titles...

I remember that Hylide was one of the biggest dissapointments for me. It sounded really good, but was in fact, really really bad.

The 3 stooges for NES. This is clearly worse than any other game.
