I must be the last person who hasn't seen the new Star Wars... you think it's still worth paying to see it and get the "theater experience"? How was the acting this time around (that guy who plays Anakin is really fucking annoying).

I'm still debating whether to wait for HBO or throw away $3.99 at Blockbuster when it comes out on DVD.

grab it online. there's a version that looks like a straight dvd rip already making the rounds.

it's good. jar jar says not a word. lots and lots of people bite it. i would *highly* suggest watching the 'clone wars' cartoon series first. you can grab it online too. it's awesome, and i think the movie makes a little more sense after seeing it.

i thought it was worth full price at the theater. i'm always weary of the "theater experience" as it just changes from place to place. but, this one's pretty action packed and fast paced. nothing really lags. i just wish the other two were as good as this one.

I saw it in the theatre and liked it.

Its soo much better than the second one. Really they should have just cut out the first two movies and just left the last.

So I finally saw it in the theater yesterday, and I must have been in the right mood because I loved it. This is how the other two should've been. I liked how it was extremely dark with a lot less silly dialogue, and everything is just going to complete shit. The battles and different worlds & environments were amazing looking (like that vertical cave, or the wookie planet?!) Even the opening space battle just felt like this massive assault. Also, did anyone get a count on how many limbs and body parts were hacked off? Damn.. great flick.

The dialogue WAS a lot better this time around, except for the scene with Anakin and Padme where they're all like, "I love you!" "Well, I love you more!" "No way, I love YOU the the most!" "Well...I love you...uhhh...INFINITY!!" "Well, I love YOU infinity plus one!!!"

Puke.

"We were BROTHERS!!!!!!"

That was my favorite part. From where Anakin turns evil until Obi Wan leaves him limbless, on fire, and sliding into a pit of lava.

I also loved when he kills the younglings. (In high-pitched British accent: "Master Skywalker! Whatever will we do? There are too many of them!" Sound of Anakin's lightsaber springing to life...)

And the part where the Seperatist fish guy is like, "But the war is over! We won!" and Anakin just coldly splits the guy apart in mid whine.

Young Darth was hot.

i think that the star wars saga are the best 6 movies ever. i'm glad to hear people are receiving episode 3 so well. i firmly contend that episodes 1 and 2 are also of the highest calliber. the faults which critics point to: silly dialogue, bad writing, trite romance, etc. are also evident in all 3 of the original movies. and for that matter every other sci fi flick.

There has always been cheesy dialogue. Episode 2 was uncalled for. I rewatched those movies before the BIG Episode 3 viewing. I fell asleep during 2. It really sucks. The only redeeming quality is the big jedi battle in the end. I guess water world was sort of cool too.
