Sorry to hear that W/O. I thought the first album was excellent, and compared to most of the crap out there these days,

I really really liked the first one too.

I picked up the new one the day it came out and although I enjoy it, I don't like it as much as the first one yet.

I probably just need to listen to it some more.

Slam and I were talking and we've decided these guys actually suck. I mean at first I thought they were pretty amazing and had a new catchy sound, but really their lyrics bite and they are a bore live. Seriously listen to the lyrics...

I don't think FF is supposed to be good; I think they're supposed to be fun. I really enjoyed the first album, and what I've heard so far of the second I think it's pretty enjoyable. Upbeat, memorable hooks have become a signature of theirs.

Plus they're cute.

I keep trying to like FF. I like their style... they're kinda cute... every time i sample their cd, tho, I seems all their songs sound incredibly similar (that's my lame music test... if i skip through the first few tracks and i can distinguish more than one from the other, game point, new guys).

maybe someone should burn me a copy and send it this way...

i personally just don't think they have any substance. yeah they're catchy...for a little while. but all their music sounds exactly the same, and just gets really annoying after awhile. and as lh said, the lyrics are crappy as hell.

it's like, it's kinda like the music i would love after i got a lobotomy.
