I lived in Boston for over 10 years. Great place (very cold winters, though, which is why I'm in Florida now). What do you want to know? Restaurants, music, festivals, neighborhoods? I'd be happy to help with any info. :)

Thanks, do you know any cool neighborhoods/towns on the south side of Boston.
I figure I should start there.
We are still sort of researching that. My wifes work will have her downtown a fair bit, but the wholesaler she will work with is in Randolph.
Oh yeah is there anyplace to get a good hotdog in Boston? God knows there isn't anyplace in Wisconsin.

South side as in South Boston or the South End? Two very different areas. Not a big fan of Southie (South Boston, near the airport) but they do have a couple of nice neighborhoods. The South End is pretty cool. I used to work down there. Great restaurants and shops. very liberal. large gay population in that area. also very artsy. lots of galleries and stuff like that.

hotdogs a plenty in Beantown. there's a couple of good places in Quincy Market in the main food hall that specialize in dogs of all kinds. Also a couple of places out of downtown that do the same. I'll get names for you.

Randolph has the best movie theater. Stadium seating, Dolby Digital surround whatever. Very big and nice comfy seats.

Make sure you check out the music scene. lots of cool venues.
