Wherever it ends up being it better be GLUTTONOUS! Anyone up for Dixie Kitchen (cajun)? There's one in Evanston and one in Hyde Park. I would vote for the Hyde Park location. Any thoughts?

i like the southern food idea. we should do bbq. we haven't done that yet. a new place just opened in pilsen, which we could try. also, smoque opened earlier this year at like irving and pulaski. and then there's always the delicious honey 1, but that's sort of like eating in a shitty hospital cafeteria or something so not very conducive to gluttony per se. bite is similar. amazing food, but not tons of ambience.

i like the bbq/southern idea. honey 1 is indeed good, but definitely not a great environment.

if we can find one that either serves drinks or is byob, i say we do it.

No, I haven't. It's was just a thought of going someplace different (I never go to Hyde Park but have really liked it when I've gone).

I would be down with Smoque. I heard it's pretty fuckin' good.

only open til 9 on tuesdays, so we should get an early start, no later than 7:30.
