ARGGGHHHHH!!!! when's the last time you all have screamed? i mean, just let it all out bloody murder yelling. i can't think of the last time. i can't even think of where i could get away with it in the city without someone calling the cops.

i could use it this week.

our new office downtown is having a grand opening on thursday. it's more-or-less the culmination of my last year of hell, and the last big hurdle i have before i slowly work my way out of my current job and start down the path towards new employment.

but god, i'm hating work. i hate commuting, mostly, as i never really signed up for that. and i'm sick of wiring. but, soon, it will be done, and this weekend i plan to get snockered.

for the finale of The Decemberists concert (night 1 of 2) on Sunday night, they sang "The Mariner's Revenge Song" and there's a part where we're all supposed to simulate getting eaten by a giant whale so we scream and yell our heads off when the cue is given. So that's the last time I did. It was fun.

last time i did it was two sundays ago when dolphins tailback ronnie brown (the only thing worth watching on a team i make a big part of my life) shredded his knee while the 0-6 dolphins were down 42-7 to the perfect patriots led by tom brady and his perfect life. i also threw a slice of pizza at my TV during said scream.

I feel like screaming all the time. And beating up a few PI's while I'm at it. And burning all of their proposals in the process...

and laugh about it as it burns.

I scream in the car when someone else makes me mad. I'm with ya on the commuting comment, Slam: it sucks. In fact, I screamed earlier today when I got stuck in rush hour traffic after a doctor's appointment and somehow I ended up in the lane that is just sitting there while all the others are speeding past it. The scream felt really good, but I probably looked crazy.

See Packers vs. Broncos thread. 80 yard touchdown, first play of overtime, JVO screamed and cried like Nancy Kerrigan. Why? Why?????

i love The Decemberists. they're among my favorite bands.

i'm pretty sure the whole douchebag sea pirate/troubadour thing is an act.

it's not only the act that made him a pretentious fuck.

he's also less rock than, say, shakespeare in the park or some shit.

P.S. sorry to make fun of one of your favorite bands.

it's fine. i mean, i guess there were some spots where he could rub people the wrong way in his acts. I remember one spot in particular where he shushed somebody. But then he let people sit on the edge of the stage if they were tired. He's got layers. haha! :p

Last time I saw Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind, they performed a play about "screaming like a girl". All the girls in the audience stood up and each section of the theatre screamed at a different time, creating a symphony of girl screams. It was awesome and my date was scared.

I let loose a pretty loud string of expletives Sunday when the Sox finished off the Rocks. More accurately, I was just continuing the string of expletives I had going since inning one of the series.

huh, just got an email saying that the rest of The Decemberists tour has been canceled due to illness of a couple of the band members, and they aren't planning on rescheduling. i saw them rock out over 2 days for like 5-6 hours total, they seemed fine to me! learn to be rock staaaars!

seriously though, i'm really thankful i got to see them. they rule. FA loves 'em too.
