i heard it was about Battlestar Pegasus from when Caprica original got attacked to when Galactica and Pegasus met up in that one episode. I'm looking forward to it!

you know, there's so much damn time between all these episodes and seasons, I've completely forgotten what happened in the Pegasus episodes actually. :p

Pegasus was run by an insane lesbian. She liked to torture Cylons, specifically #6. This was, by some insane coincidence, the same #6 that Gaius Baltar had known on Caprica. (Not the same body, but the same personality, but not the same personality as other #6s running around out there.) She outranked Adama, she made Starbuck's lesbian tendencies bubble up to the surface, and she enacted martial law. For reasons that, in my opinion, defy the characters of Adama and President Roslin, they decide that after a risky mission, they should assassinate the insane lesbian and take Pegasus for their own. They end up not killing her, but #6 escapes and finds the insane lesbian in her quarters and kills her for them. Adama gives Pegasus to Apollo, who then gets fat and not so cute. (And let's face it--without his cute-little-twinky-bottom schtick going on, Apollo's a loser.) So a bunch of stuff happened with Fat Apollo that I didn't really pay attention to, and then Pegasus blew up.

Could some one educate me? I have finally started watching BSG, and have made it through seasons 1, 2.0, and 2.5. Is season 5 the next one to appear on TV. It appears 3 and 4 are not on DVD, and I don't know if I can stomach watching them on I-tunes. Just wanted to make sure I've got it right on the seasons.
I am excited for Razor, because I think that there are some interesting stories to be told. My fear is that it is a lot of time without the major characters that we know and love. I didn't like any of the characters from Pegasus, they just seemed like dicks. I really disliked the militant lesbian chick, the XO seemed alright, but a bit weird and weak.

The Pegasus XO turned out to be a big dick later on. Then he got capped.

I think Season 4 is actually the one we're waiting for. I'm not sure if Season 3 is out yet or not. Somebody with money and time to look it up will have to take that!

And yeah, everybody on Pegasus was an ass. They were very, very military, unable to adapt and change their rules based on the situation the way that our Galactica heroes were. They were a good plot device, to show how far Adama and his crew had come in accepting their situation and learning to roll with the punches.

finally watched Razor. I liked it...but really not any more than normal. Just basically a long episode of BSG.

I forgot how much of a total nutbag Admiral Cain and most of the crew of the Pegasus were.
