man, i dunno. she doesn't look evil enough, or eastern european enough, or strong enough to actually hurt anyone.

from all accounts, this movie is going to suck. for one thing, it sounds like the gi joe film is going to be based on some international anti terrorism squad. HE'S A REAL AMERICAN HERO! IT'S IN THE TITLE SONG!

now this is how a live action gi joe film should look: http://youtube.com/watch?v=mPP-xYkchD4

I have feared the GI Joe movie for many moons. It is guaranteed to suck, because it will be geared toward nostalgia/frat jerk sensationalism, directed and acted by morons who barely remember the cartoon and NEVER read the comics.

I will now sit and think and dream cast my GI Joe movie...

Zarana = Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck)
Jinx = Zhang Ziyi
Tomax and Xamot = Cillian Murphy (the thought of two Cillian Murphys makes my vagina explode.)

Cobra Commander = John Malkovich? Open to suggestion. You can never see his face, so he's got to be a hell of an actor. Same with Snake Eyes--no face, and no speaking...

ray park (darth maul) has been cast as snake eyes. i'd say that's a good choice.

i saw sienna miller in stardust the other night. she's hot all right, but she doesn't look like she could kick enough ass...

That is a good choice--he was going to be my suggestion for Firefly, "The Faceless Master," but whatever.

Ray Park is a very good martial artist, specialized in Wushu. He's cool. Not much to look at, tho...

guess that's why he only gets roles that include masks.

He was also "Toad" in the first X-Men movie. Ew.
